Ive been using this dryer for a little over a month. It dries quickly and is noticeably quieter then my last dryer. Plenty of setting and I havent explored all of them yet. Wi Fi is a nice feature for monitoring and there appear to be some special drying routine I can download to use on my machine. Very happy with the purchase

This dryer had to be converted to propane but the Service Tech did it in a matter of mins. The unit works well. It is quiet and efficient. We are still learning about some of the advanced features but are impressed so far.

The drier has exceeded my expectations. Dries quickly and the steam option works great. Programing the WI FI was a little challenging. The pedestal with drawer needs to be 15 inch high like the one on my old drier. As I can no longer store product that exceeds 10 1/4 inch in height.

We are on our second set LGs washer and dryer with the pedestals. Good machines. But they are a pain to buy have delivered and installed from either Lowes poorly informed sales person and abusive delivery dispatcher. I canceled the order or Best Buy took hours with multiple transfers to different robos and people most with heavy accents. And if one vendor is out of a pedestal another vendor will not install the pedestal because they didnt put in the machines and vice versa. A major and very upsetting hassle.

Wouldnt buy again.

Weve had the dryer for 2 months and we already had to have repairs. The dryer was leaving black marks on our clothes and we were told we shouldnt be drying certain clothes in there. These are not clothes that need to be dry cleaned and we dried them in our old dryer for years. Calling support was TERRIBLE. They told us several times they wouldnt do anything to fix our 2 month old dryer. It wasnt until I got the case escalated 3 times before someone agreed to repair it.

We are very happy with our new dryer. We are amazed at all the new available features weve never had before. Like the steam feature which reduces the amount of wrinkle on our clothes. The AI that measures the exact time it takes to dry a load of clothes. We really the the added feature that alerts us of the exhaust air flow being restricted. Thats a really nice safety feature. The drier has a steam dry feature which I have been unable to utilize because to water supply is located on the wrong side of utility room and I have not spent the money to route the water over to the other side. Our dryer gave up after a mere 23 years and this one was recommended by the salesman. Comparing it with the other brand we noted that simple things like the lint basket were of notably higher quality and significantly more functional. This dryer gets our laundry fluffy and dry but I also love the app and the ability to set many different settings not available on the dryer proper. The ability to use the smart app to diagnose any potential problems is also a huge plus and I was impressed that when I sent a question via the app I not only got suggestions for FAQs but also an actual response to my specific question. Love everything about it and will definitely go with LG in the future.

Great dryer - plug to short when stacked

So far the dryer is great. Quiet and efficient. The humidity sensor on delicate leaves the clothes damp sometimes but its a fast cycle. Only other complaint is the power cable was too short when stacked and pulled out of our closet to install without an extension cord.

Glass door shattered 54 weeks after purchase

I bought this washer/dryer set from Best Buy in Nov 2021 and in Dec 2022 the glass door shattered while drying sheets. I live alone I dont overload my laundry and I dont dry weird items - this load was only sheets and towels. The warranty expired 2 weeks ago or so 1 year after purchase and so now Im hoping to find a replacement door online and then hopefully learn how to install the new door myself. Very upset with that part of the purchase. Also found it doesnt dry very well on the default setting but timed dry seems to work every time. It actually doesnt seem to even get warm when the default dry setting is turned on even though the temp is med/med-high. So frustrating. Everything else about this is great. I like the washer a lot and I did like the dryer until now. :

Features on this dryer are very nice. The steam feature has 2 settings one to fluff up and remove wrinkles and the other is a sanitary steam great for towels and bedding. Overall great machine

There is a lot of pre-set settings but we often just make our own settings. Its quiet no vibration noise load capacity very well suited for our family of three. Theres many features we have yet to try bells and whistles like the Wi-Fi connection and steam setting. Definitely recommend.

I bought this a before labor day 9/3 directly from LG. If you dont have time to wait I dont recommend that route. The delivery date was stated 9/20. However that is the delivery date to a third party that will deliver it to you house. Very misleading I had to wait an additional 2 weeks 10/11 to receive my new appliances. I have now had this dryer for a bit. I am very pleased. The dryer itself is great. It has an abundance of features. Like Wi-fi it is neat that i can get a notification that my cloths are dry.

Solid Performance Limiting Controls

What should a dryer do? Dry clothes. This one does a very good job. What should an excellent dryer do? Allow easy control. Not so much. The built-in default settings are good but I cant easily adjust them. e.g. it insists on MORE DRY and wont allow me to override to LESS DRY. The light inside the dryer doesnt work like a regular dryer. I expect the light to be on when the door is open and off when closed with perhaps an override to temporarily turn on the light when the door is closed. Nope. Open the door? Nothing. You have to POWER ON the dryer. Does the light go off when you close the door and POWER OFF? Nope. The light stays on for a while. I think the designers got too over-zealous with what they could do with the electronic control of everything.

LOVE MY NEW LG DRYER

This is my second LG dryer. My original one got damaged in the Texas Big Freeze but it served me well for many many years The new one is a ThinQ and I love that it holds so many clothes. It has many drying options 12 and runs so quietly you can hardly hear it. The musical notes on completion of each load is a nice touch and the big drawer in the base provides lots of extra storage. It was a teriffic buy and the perfect complement for me LG washer
